A seamless forecast for PepsiCo sourcing regions (SFPS)

The goal of this project is provide different forecasting products, such as tercile forecasts, as well as flexible forecasts at both seasonal and sub-seasonal time scales. Precipitation and temperature are targeted variables, with the US, Canada, and Thailand as regions of interest. Among the tasks will be the assessment of precipitation and temperature variability and predictability, evaluation of skill over the regions, and development of forecast products that may assist climate-sensitive agricultural management decision-making
