Equatorial Pacific Monthly Standardized Sea Level Pressure Anomaly Hovmoller

This is a longitude-time Hovmoller diagram of standardized sea level pressure anomaly, averaged from 5°S to 5°N latitude, across Indonesia and the equatorial Pacific Ocean from 90°E to 80°W, over the past two years.

In this plot the horizontal axis represents longitude and the vertical axis represents time, with the most recent values at the top. The base period for the standardized anomalies is 1991-2020. Positive anomalies above 0.5 s.d. are shaded in yellow and orange and negative anomalies are shaded in blue. The contour interval is 0.5 s.d.
