Monthly Streamfunction Anomaly at 925 hPa

This map shows the monthly streamfunction climatology and anomalies at the 925 hPa pressure level in the atmosphere for the given month over the 1991-2020 base period.

Monthly streamfunction climatology values are shown as grey contours with a contour interval of 5E+06 m2/s; dashed contours represent negative values, and solid contours represent positive values. Positive streamfunction anomalies are shown in yellow and orange, and negative anomalies are shown in shades of blue and are also expressed in units of m2/s.
